From one Greek family to another, Meli Honey begins in Greece.

Our story is as sweet as our honey. The founder of Meli Honey was pleasantly surprised to see an old friend from Greece in Australia one day. After sharing stories together, one conversation lead to another, that eventually lead to a chat about Greek honey. Whilst praising the uniqueness of Greek honey, the founder felt inspired to follow a dream.

He journeyed to Greece to deepen his appreciation and understanding of Greek honey. The quality of honey sourced from the special Greek beehives enthused him even further to bring a vision to life; to share Greek honey with the world. Meli Honey was born.

True to form, the inspiration behind the Meli Honey brand is as simple and sweet as the honey itself. Today Meli Honey is an Australian family-run business that keeps authentic to its origin; pure and unique honey sourced from Greece.

The unlimited summer sun, biodiversity of the Greek countryside and rich variety of Greek flora (including over 850 species) can’t be found anywhere in the world. Scientists and botanists consider Greece a country with the richest flora in the Mediterranean basin with more than 7,500 different species of herbs, plants, wild flowers and trees for the sweet honeybees.
